Launching My Blogroll

Pict0099

I am constantly inspired by so many wonderful people in my life.  People in my personal life, my work life and in my blogosphere life.

Today, I am launching my blogroll. I'll be sharing blogs that inspire me, make me laugh, and bring me joy.  I'll be featuring them here and keep adding them to the blogroll list.  I hope you visit them, maybe leave them a comment and let them know if you connect with something on their blog/site. We love hearing from you, we really do.

  • Kind Over Matter - Amanda Oaks was the very first person I ever contacted on the blogosphere. I sent her an email to let her know how much I enjoyed her site. I was a brand new blogger and asked her for some advice. She responded, with some great advice and offered to help with anything else I needed.  She was so kind and I was blown away!  Here she was, with a hugely succesfull site, willing to help a green newbie like me. That was my introduction to this wonderful world of the blogosphere. Months later I wrote a post titled Farewell to Military Service and A Sister's Wish. She featured it on her site and oh did I feel the love! Many people sent me emails, commented and "liked" the post. Again, I was completely blown away!  Her site is dedicated to kind acts, stories, art and projects. But her site is much-much more.  It's a place of empowerment, where many share their inspirational stories, it's about spreading kindness and encouragement; it's truly an amazing community.
  • Serendipity Factory - I immediately connected with Traci's blog when I stumbled upon it.  She shares happy discoveries. We have many commonalities and one is our love for quotes (and Pinterest). Actually that is how we connected.  I left her a comment on a post about how much I also love Pinterest, then we followed each other and it was a match made in Pinterest heaven. She added me to her blogroll and now I am delighted to add her to mine. :)
  • Hello, Good Gravy! - I want to be one of Lelan's kids someday. You'll see what I mean when you visit her site.  She finds the humor and fun in the ordinary. I laugh out loud when I read her posts and see her illustrated photographs. It's the coolest thing! She has a great way of capturing the day-to-day moments. I had followed her blog for a long time and decided to "unlurk" myself.  I reached out to her for pointers when I started considering doing free printables.  We didn't just email, we actually talked on the phone!  Yes, we're real people! She gave me a couple of great ideas and I'm so grateful.

And there it is!  My blogroll kick-off. You can see the list on the right column.

My little blog is growing.  It's growing because of you and wonderful people that offer to help without ever asking for anything in return.  I hope I get to do the same for someone some day and pay it forward.

I invite you to check back, I have many more wonderful sites and blogs to share with you.

I hope you enjoy them!
